Now more than ever, they need our monetary support to provide meals during these uncertain times. Remember, its not the amount you give, but the act of giving that makes the difference.
Dear friends of Mobile Meals,
With the addition of 150 clients due to the global pandemic, CAC Mobile Meals is currently serving more homebound seniors than ever before. Our program has sustained the past 5 years of growth in large part by hosting it’s annual fundraising event, Power of the Purse. The 2020 in person event will not be held as usual this September and that puts at risk our ability to continue to serve seniors in need without a waiting list. Please consider donating during our Power of the Purse fundraising campaign.
The auction component of our fundraiser starts TODAY. Log on to check out the beautiful auction packages, presented by Patricia Nash, that are accompanied by hundreds of dollars in gift cards to local merchants. If you are not the winning bidder, thank you in advance for whatever you can donate. All proceeds go directly to providing meals for our most vulnerable neighbors.
CAC Mobile Meals has been providing food and hope to seniors in our community since 1971. Your support is key to ensuring the program can continue to do so. We look forward to celebrating our 50th year of service together at next year’s Power of the Purse event.
